P&O Cruises Australia have just christened Pacific Adventure over 20 years after it first went to sea! What's going on? Did you know cruise lines often christen their ships in a strange and superstitious ritual? Ships have been christened by “godmothers” or “Madrina’s” for well over a century. And christenings or blessings for ships can be traced back to ancient times. And there have been some very famous ships named by some very famous godmother’s throughout history.
