We Thought Our First Carnival Cruise Would Be A Disaster - Here's What Actually Happened

Our first ever cruise on Carnival Encounter from Brisbane to the Whitsundays did NOT go how we expected – here’s the big surprise and whether we’d cruise again. 🚢 After driving up to Brisbane, we left our car with our friends Laura and Tony… but they had a big surprise waiting… In this episode, we explore our stateroom, check out the buffet, and get swept up in the excitement of the sail away party. From dancing on deck as the ship heads out to sea, to enjoying great food, bar-hopping between three different venues, and ending the night with a hilarious comedy show. Day 2 is a sea day so we explorethe ship, sunbathe by the pool,play bingo, go shopping, have a tourofmthe ships kitchen with the Executive Chef of The Carnival Encounter, then dress up , have our photos taken, go to Lukes Signature restaurant , go to a show and finish the night off with cocktails! Day 3 is a shore excursion to Airlie Beach where we explore the town on foot and them take a coach tour around the Airlie Beach area. Then back to the Boat, lewis braves the water slides and we join Laura and Tony for drinks, an amazing meal and a show!
