Welcome to Day 2 of my Princess Grill Diary aboard Cunard’s Queen Elizabeth — a full sea day filled with history, elegance and movement.
Today included one of Cunard’s renowned Insight Lectures on the Titanic, a visit to Zumba Gold, time in the gym overlooking the ocean, a look inside the Play Zone, and a walk past both Queens Grill and Princess Grill to compare the atmosphere.
In the afternoon, I watched a fencing lesson on deck (yes — fencing at sea!) before preparing for Gala Night. The transformation of the ship was magical — tuxedos, long gowns, live orchestra music, and ballroom dancing in the Queen’s Room.
Dinner in Princess Grill was, as always, refined and unhurried. Later, I enjoyed the pianist in the Commodore Club and ended the evening at The Yacht Club disco.
