In previous vlogs, I tour staterooms or cabins on cruise ships.
In this video, she talks about the different types of staterooms or cabins available on a cruise ship, including inside (no windows), ocean view (with a window), obstructed ocean view (something in your way such as a lifeboat), balcony suite, and suite (additional lounge & amenities).
There is different bed configuration that can either be a single bed, two single beds pushed together to make a queen-size bed, a sofa bed, or a bunk bed.
Staterooms have various amenities that are typically found in a stateroom, such as a refrigerator, hairdryer, desk, seating area, storage areas, a safe, and a life vest.
She emphasizes the importance of familiarizing oneself with the emergency evacuation procedure and the location of the muster station, as well as the need to bring important items like medications and warm clothing in case of an emergency evacuation.
Different cruise companies have different rules regarding what guests can bring into their staterooms, and there may be minibars or complimentary water available.
Julie concludes by saying that a stateroom on a cruise ship is like a hotel on the water, with many of the same amenities and comforts.
