CARNIVAL’S money hungry “Suits” just can’t stay out of their own way. CARNIVAL clearly one of, if not the largest cruise company in the World, apparently is trying to drop down a few spots. Why? Well instead of keeping their LOYAL CRUISERS happy, they keep rolling out plans that clearly SCREAM they are all about money and taking care of their loyal cruisers is secondary.
Common sense tells you they caved making Diamond cruisers “forever” now, after what seemingly was a reaction to Diamond cruisers failing to book like they typically had, and an increase in cancellations of future cruisers.
The only concession they made to their LARGEST LOYAL tier of customers, they gave 10,000 “stars” of 50,000 needed STARS/points, just to “maintain” Platinum status for a Two year period. Really CARNIVAL?! 😡
It’s obvious CARNIVAL is not proactive but REACTING to future sales not reaching the levels they hoped for…well judging by the extreme NEGATIVE REACTIONS from most Platinum cruisers…they will lose even more future business…and knowing CARNIVAL, they’ll wait until it’s obvious they’ve lost business before they do what they should have done from the start…. TAKE CARE OF YOUR MOST LOYAL CUSTOMERS!!
