We just got off the newest cruise ship in the world – Norwegian Cruise Line’s Norwegian Aqua – and WOW, do we have a lot to tell you about! From thrilling attractions to a couple unexpected disappointments, we break it all down by what we loved, what we didn’t love, and what we hated.
Norwegian Aqua is the very first ship in the new Prima Plus class from Norwegian Cruise Line. The ship is 10% larger than her Prima-class siblings Norwegian Prima and Norwegian Viva. That means, she has both new and expanded venues, new attractions, and a few things that have been removed that we are very happy about!
In our full review of the Norwegian Aqua, we cover food, drinks, entertainment, ship design, and more.
Here are just a couple highlights we think you’ll love:
• Indulge Food Hall
• Norwegian’s first-ever Thai restaurant at sea, Sukothai
• The brand-new Swirl Wine Bar and some delicious frozen drinks
• First-of-its-kind Aqua Slidecoaster – for the kids and kids-at-heart
• Stunning ship design, spa, gym, theater, and more
• Fleetwood Mac’s Rumours, A Celebration of Prince, Elements: The World Expanded
Like any vacation, there are always a few things that didn’t go according to plan. There were also some disappointing changes that just don’t make sense. We’ll tell you about all of those things when we talk about what we didn’t love and what we hated about the Norwegian Aqua.
Whether you're a loyal NCL fan or curious about the new Prima-Plus class, this is the ultimate Norwegian Aqua review with cruise tips, secret spaces, food highlights, and design upgrades.
