Welcome to part 2 of our Norwegian Cruise Line (NCL) lunch buffet tour! In this video, we're showing you all the unique and rotating food options we discovered during the second week (Day 8 through Day 14) of our amazing 14-day summer 2025 cruise on the Norwegian Star which visited Canada, Greenland and Iceland.
From tropical port-day flavors to an incredible themed feast, the Garden Café buffet had many surprises. Some of the highlights included a spectacular German-themed lunch on Day 11 and some hearty choices on the final full day of our cruise. Let's get part 2 started with the dishes from Day 8!
A sneak peek at some of the delicious dishes we found:
Day 8: Jerk Pork Chop, Chocolate Rum Balls, and Mango Papaya Mousse
Day 9: Baked Champiñones Al Ajillo and comforting Chicken Curry
Day 11 (German Feast): Braised Red Cabbage, Bread Dumplings, Fried Chicken, and Apple Walnut Torte
Day 13: Baked Fish with Creole, Bratwurst Sausage, and Caramel Almond Torte
Day 14 (Final Lunch): Breaded Porkchop with White Cream Sauce, Asparagus Gratin, and Apple Streusel
