🚢 Pixar Day at Sea isn't just about one day, and that's what makes it worth booking. Disney Cruise Line invited my family to experience Pixar Day at Sea on the Disney Fantasy, and the first thing I learned is the name is slightly misleading - but in a good way. Yes, on Pixar Day, Pixar completely takes over the ship. Toy Story, Inside Out, Incredibles, Ratatouille, and even deeper cuts like A Bug's Life all get representation. There are rare character meets, themed Pixar food, activities for every age group, and a Pixar Pals Celebration deck party that brings all the characters together in one unmissable show. My kids' favorite? The Wilderness Explorers scavenger hunt that sent us all over the ship. But here's what surprised me most: The exclusive Pixar experiences aren't crammed into a single day. Disney told me they intentionally spread activities across the entire sailing so guests aren't stressing out trying to do everything in one packed day. Some offerings repeat. We had the Hey Howdy Breakfast with Woody, Jessie, and Bullseye on a completely separate day from Pixar Day itself. And everything you already love about Disney Cruise Line is still there. Pirates Night, Mickey Churros, all of it. Pixar Day at Sea adds to the experience without replacing what makes Disney cruises special. Now, the important details: Pixar Day at Sea only happens on the Disney Fantasy from January through March, and it is confirmed to return in 2027. If your family loves Toy Story, Inside Out, or really any Pixar movie and you want a Disney cruise packed full of Pixar, this is the sailing to book.
