Even those who reach Diamond status—after sailing at least 40 nights—often feel that the benefits are limited compared to competitors.
Another issue is Royal Caribbean’s lack of loyalty to home ports. Cities like Baltimore have lost cruise service, while seasonal ports like Boston are no longer available. Many passengers who relied on certain home ports for convenience now have to travel farther or consider switching to another cruise line.
