After soaking in the views, we stepped ashore to explore the historic town of Kotor, famous for its medieval architecture and the iconic city walls that encircle it. 🏰 Wandering through narrow cobblestone streets, we discovered charming squares, centuries-old churches, and—yes, you guessed it—Kotor’s famous cats! 🐱 Whether you’re a history buff or a feline fan, Kotor has something for everyone. But the adventure doesn’t stop in town! After our explorations, we headed back to the Viking Jupiter to unwind in the luxurious thermal suite at the onboard spa. 🌊🧖‍♂️ Can you believe this serene oasis is included in your cruise fare? We practically had the place to ourselves, and it was the perfect way to recharge after a morning of sightseeing. From the steam room to the snow grotto, this spa experience was pure bliss. Lunchtime found us at the buffet, where we enjoyed a delicious selection of Mediterranean-inspired dishes before heading out to bask in the sun on the ship’s beautiful aft deck. The infinity pool overlooking the fjord was the ideal spot to relax, sip on a cool drink, and take in the breathtaking scenery. 🌞 As the evening approached, we embarked on an unforgettable excursion to a nearby monastery. Here, we were treated to a captivating local folk music concert, set against the backdrop of Kotor’s dramatic landscape. 🎻 The boat ride to and from the concert offered even more stunning views of the fjord—this is Montenegro at its finest. We wrapped up our incredible day by heading to Torshavn, the Viking Jupiter’s late-night music venue and bar. 🎶 With live music, great drinks, and a lively atmosphere, it was the perfect way to end our day in Kotor.
