Come with me on a quick tour of an Obstructed Oceanview cabin onboard Pacific Adventure and Pacific Encounter.
This cabin is a comfortable, compact space that can accommodate up to 4 passengers. In this case, the room has been set up with twin beds, but these can be converted to a queen.
A vanity with Australian powerpoint outlets, a seat, a mini bar and flat screen TV round out the offerings within the cabin itself.
The large picture window has a view that is obstructed with a lifeboat, however the room is a great alternative to an interior cabin and often presents very good value when searching for a cruise.
This particular room is also an interconnecting cabin, which means that the door between the neighbouring cabin can be unlocked, allowing for a group of family or friends to enjoy the use of two bathrooms, whilst still having extra privacy as well as space.
The walk-in style wardrobe is spacious with lots of hanging space. A cupboard hides extra storage in the form of shelves, plus a small safe with digital key lock.
The bathroom is compact but clean. The shower contains a retractable clothes line.
There is pump hand soap, as well as a combined shampoo/conditioner and body wash available in the shower itself.
Let me know in the comments if you'd be interested in staying in an obstructed oceanview cabin on a future cruise.
Thanks for watching!
