Disney Fantasy Westbound Transatlantic Cruise 2025 | Day 5 | Sea Day & Formal Night

Day 5 of our 13-Night Westbound Transatlantic Cruise on the Disney Fantasy is a full sea day and a formal night. JB is under the weather in the morning, so I kick things off solo with trivia and a rumba dance class. We then attend the Captain’s Reception for Gold and above Castaway Club members, where we get a rare backstage look at how the flying carpet works in the Aladdin musical. In the afternoon, we build our own Forkys, attend a talk from a Disney Archivist, and tackle Pixar trivia and Aladdin trivia. For formal night we head to Royal Court for the Frozen-themed menu, shake hands with the Captain, and capture portraits with Disney characters decked out in their formal best. We catch most of the Aladdin stage show… until the magic carpet gives up mid-performance, which is somehow perfectly on-brand for our luck this trip. The night wraps up with adult fun in The Tube, featuring Majority Minds and Match Your Mate, followed by a wander through the kids club during its after-hours open house. It’s a packed sea day full of Disney magic, ship secrets, and fancy outfits. Tomorrow, we make land in Madeira.
