What is a Sea Day actually like on Royal Caribbean’s Freedom of the Seas? From high-energy poolside contests to elegant dining, we’re showing you everything you can do onboard!
Our Sea Day aboard Royal Caribbean’s Freedom of the Seas was the definition of an action-packed Sea Day. We kicked things off with a nostalgic Lunch at Johnny Rockets, fueling up for a day full of iconic ship activities. From the hilarious splashes at the Belly Flop contest to the Thriller dance lessons in the Star Lounge, there was never a dull moment. We even took some time to test our knowledge during shipboard trivia and tried our luck with some free play in the casino, proving that a day at sea is anything but boring when you're sailing with Royal Caribbean.
As the sun began to set, the entertainment stepped up a notch. We headed to the Main Theater for a spectacular performance of the Marquee show, followed by an elegant "Taste of France" night in the Main Dining Room. The evening continued with vibrant atmosphere and handcrafted cocktails at Boleros, leading right into the laughs at the Perfect Couple Game Show. To cap off the night, we joined the massive Decades Party on the Promenade before dancing the night away at the Olive or Twist nightclub. This vlog captures the best of cruise nightlife and daytime fun on one of the best ships in the fleet!

We took a 5-night cruise aboard Royal Caribbean's Freedom of the Seas in October of 2025. This cruise went to Cozumel and Coco Cay. We booked this cruise through a travel agent and had a Sunset Ocean View Stateroom on deck 9. If you are planning a Royal Caribbean vacation, this video series breaks down the nightlife, dining, and daytime entertainment you can expect on a Freedom-class ship like Freedom of the Seas!
