Hi everyone,
In this week's video we have a bit of a later start thanks to our very fun drink filled day and night before. We get a bit excited on embarkation day especially on a #royalcaribbean Oasis class ship! Dane very kindly went to Park Cafe to get us some breakfast, we had egg, ham and cheese breakfast muffins and they were amazing!
Once we finally got ready to leave the cabin we returned to central park and park cafe to have the beef sandwich which is just an absolute favourite of ours! We have a bit more of an explore around the ship and go to Mason Jar for a cocktail. Today was a port day and we had arrived in Majorca but we decided to stay on board and take advantage of a quieter ship. We basically had the bar to ourselves which was great! We loved the vibe, drinks and music in here and we would definitely be back.
We were going to play mini golf but it was a little busy so we decided to do the Ultimate Abyss slide instead. It's such a thrill! Would definitely say you have to do it at least once! We were going to eat at El Loco Fresh but we chose the busiest time so will do that later in the week!
We chose instead to play some games, have some drinks and eat some snacks at Playmakers. We really enjoyed the food, the crunch wrap rolls were excellent and the pig skin sliders especially! Also had an angry orchard for the first time in ages too which really made us feel like we were in America.
We then went back to the cabin to rest for a bit, get ready for the evening and chill on the balcony. We also had our first towel animal, we think it was a dog! It was then time for our reservation at Chops Grille, the steakhouse on board. We really like the feel of the restaurant it felt intimate and romantic and there were plenty of space between tables. We had a great server Mark and we absolutely adored this meal. The steak was perfect and the sides were excellent! The wine was flowing, we had a fantastic time and although one of the first meals on board we knew it would be one of our favourites. The key lime meringue will always amaze me!
We had a quick drink at Schooner Bar watching the Rising Tide Bar go to Central park. After this we tried to walk off all the food by going around the walking/running track. We also timed this well as it was sunset so we got some really pretty views and photos at this time! It was a really pleasant walk and did help to bring a bit more life to us.
We did want to watch the Country Crew Trio in the Mason Jar but it wasn't pour luck this night as it was a bit too busy. We will get there later in the week though! So instead we decided to have a night cap at our new favourite bar, The Pesky Parrot. We then called it a night ready for a full sea day the next morning.
#allureoftheseas is such an amazing ship and we can't wait to share more of the #cruisevlogs with you!
