Green Island Barrier Reef, Cairns Shore Tour - P&O Cruises , Pacific Aria

Cruise ship shore tour to Green island from the Pacific Aria. P&O cruise to the Barrier Reef. Stopping at ports of Airlie Beach and Cairns for 2 days. We got the shore tour through P&O but you could do the same day tour by yourself. It just would not include the lunch we got. The tour includes Glass bottom boat ride (30min) or snorkelling but if you paid around $21 extra you could do both. In summer its recommended to hire the Stinger suits (extra $7) . We arrived at the Island around 9.30 and left at around 2. We found that enough time to do the glass bottom boat, snorkel , walk around island , have lunch and swim in the pool. Water visibility was poor due to storms in the days before hand , that's why it looks so green from the glass bottom boat. We saw and swam with turtles , stingrays and reef sharks. Even with poor visibility we enjoyed it and would recommend .
