We SAT OUT on Part of Our EXCURSION We Booked With Virgin Voyages | We Were Not Feeling It

In this week’s episode, Dee and I make our first port of call on our Virgin Voyages @VirginVoyages Valiant Lady anniversary cruise — Key West, Florida 🌴🍹. Since we’re cruising without the kids, we decided to step outside our comfort zone and try something we’ve never done before: a Key West pub crawl excursion booked directly through Virgin Voyages. Key West is famous for its bars, laid-back vibes, and open-container culture… so we figured, why not? Our excursion included: • A guided tour of the island • Visits to 5 different bars • Drink tickets included at every stop • Fun facts, history, and stories about Key West • And yes… drinking while walking the streets (totally legal in Key West!) We had a great time learning about the island, laughing with our group, and enjoying some strong drinks along the way. The vibe was fun, the guide was entertaining, and the experience overall was something completely different from our usual cruise excursions. However… at the final stop, something happened that completely caught us off guard. An activity took place that Dee and I just could not get behind. We were shocked, uncomfortable, and honestly found it very unsanitary and gross. While others in the group participated, we chose to sit this one out. It simply wasn’t for us, and you’ll have to watch to see exactly what happened 👀🤢. Once the pub crawl wrapped up, we still wanted to enjoy everything Key West had to offer. We spent more time: • Sightseeing around the island • Shopping for souvenirs • Taking in the laid-back Key West atmosphere • And grabbing some conch fritters for lunch 🐚🍽️ Overall, it was a great day in Key West, and the pub crawl was fun — minus that one moment that really made us question things.
