Cruising through the Dusty and Doubtful Sounds in New Zealand was an unforgettable experience. The ship, Norwegian Jewel, provided the perfect vessel for us to take in the sights and sounds of these lesser-known fjords. The ship's spacious decks and panoramic lounges provided the perfect vantage point to take in the natural beauty of the area. The scenery was simply breath-taking. The towering peaks and cascading waterfalls surrounded us as we sailed through the narrow fjords. We were lucky enough to experience good weather during our cruise, which only added to the beauty of the experience. The colours of the water were simply mesmerizing, and the reflections of the peaks on the surface were truly magical. The onboard naturalists were a great addition to our experience. They provided us with interesting facts and titbits about the area and pointed out the wildlife that we might have missed otherwise. We had the opportunity to see playful dolphins and seals, which made the experience even more special. The Dusty and Doubtful Sounds are not as popular as the Milford Sound, but in my opinion, they are just as beautiful and worth visiting. They offer their own unique landscapes and wildlife sightings. The Norwegian Jewel was the perfect vessel to take in the sights and sounds of these fjords, and I couldn't recommend this experience enough.
