Disney Adventure is officially the largest ship ever built for Disney Cruise Line, marking a major milestone in the company’s global expansion. At approximately 208,000 gross tons and 19 decks, this massive vessel can accommodate over 6,000 passengers and introduces a completely new scale of Disney storytelling at sea.
Originally started as part of another cruise project in Germany, the unfinished vessel was acquired by Disney in 2022 and redesigned to match Disney Cruise Line’s signature family-focused experience. The result is Disney Adventure, a mega cruise ship featuring immersive themed zones, Broadway-style entertainment, high-capacity theaters, and Disney’s famous rotational dining system.
The ship will begin sailing on March 10, 2026, from Singapore, becoming the first Disney Cruise Line vessel permanently based in Asia. Most sailings will be 3-night and 4-night cruise-to-nowhere itineraries, meaning the ship itself becomes the destination with endless onboard entertainment, dining, and activities.
Disney Adventure introduces seven themed neighborhoods, including:
• Disney Imagination Garden
• San Fransokyo Street (Big Hero 6 inspired)
• Disney Discovery Reef
• Wayfinder Bay (Moana themed)
• Town Square for Disney Princess experiences
Guests can also enjoy Broadway-style productions, character meet-and-greets, fireworks at sea, youth clubs, adult lounges, luxury concierge suites, and immersive dining venues across the ship.
