Our Unexpected Dune Buggy Experience in the DR: Was It Better This Time? | Celebrity Cruises

Our first experience was great, so we decided to get down and dirty again in the DR. We were excited for this first Reconnecting at Sea port excursion during our 7-night sailing aboard the beautiful Celebrity Ascent. With face masks, proper clothing, and prior experience, the group was prepared for the dune buggies. It had not rained in the area, nor was rain in the forecast, so we expected a not too dirty experience. Some even wore white shirts believing that they would return with minimal dirt. We rode through the winding roads of the Dominican Republic countryside, stopped at a local village, and visited a local beach.
