If you are sailing down the Mexican Riviera on the Norwegian Bliss (or any other ship!) and stopping in Mazatlán, you HAVE to check out this excursion. We actually didn't book this through the cruise line—Michelle did some digging and found Julian Acosta’s Red Truck Tour on Facebook, and it was the best decision of our trip! Instead of piling onto a crowded, rigid cruise ship bus, we booked a private tour for about $150. While they are famous for their open-air red trucks, we actually took a custom golf cart instead! It was a little bit bigger than normal and had a front and a back seat, which made it absolutely perfect for just the two of us as a couple. Our incredible driver, Alfredo, took us literally anywhere we wanted to go. There were no strict schedules or rushing around. We just hopped in, enjoyed the ocean breeze, and explored the city entirely at our own pace. Why this tour is a total win: If you are looking for an excursion that is actually doable without a ton of physical strain, this is it! You get to see all the massive sights without a bunch of stairs. Alfredo pulls right up to the best spots, making it incredibly comfortable and easy to just sit back and take in the culture.
