The UK has approved domestic cruises to restart from May 17th, and we explore what this might mean for Australia. Carnival Australia also commits to an itinerary shake up for cruises scheduled to depart Sydney and Brisbane onboard Carnival Splendor and Carnival Spirit between August and November this year, with a focus on domestic itineraries instead. The Center for Disease Control in the US has also updated its guidance regarding the necessity of vaccinated people wearing masks in enclosed spaces, and the Royal Caribbean / Norwegian Cruise Line Healthy Sail Panel partnership may be adjusting its guidelines for onboard health protocols in line with these updates.
