Now that you've booked your cruise, how could I save some extra money while I’m actually on the cruise? Now that you're on your cruise you want to find some ways that it's going to save a little bit of money. It's not uncommon that sometimes that there is a group function like a captain's club meeting where there's a free drink. If you do want to go to one of the art auctions and get a free glass of champagne. Don't get fooled into getting a painting in the art auction. That cheap glass of champagne may end up costing you an arm or a leg. It's not uncommon that drinks packages dining packages and shore excursions are cheaper if you book it before you embarkation day. That way you can get a little bit of an additional discount. The negative thing about that is it all has to be paid off before you get onto the boat. This doesn't necessarily have the same savings where you incrementally pay along the way in advance, it may have a little bit of a discount for the overall price. If you want to do a drinks package calculate how much do you drink? If you don't consume alcohol, it might not be a good deal for you. Also remember that both people in the cabin must have the drinks package. If one of the people in the cabin doesn't drink, it might not be a good option. Work out your calculations to what's going to suit you. If you are going to treat yourself and go to a spa day, watch out for some of the deals. There may deals combining two products together and give a percentage discount. On a port day and everybody else is off the boat onshore, sometimes the spa may give additional discounts to entice people to come to the spa on a port day. Where sea days the spa is very busy because a lot of people want some TLC. If you do consider that you're going to go on another cruise another way to save a little bit of money is to go to the onboard Future Cruise Desk and purchase either book future cruise credit or book on another cruise.
