@diazondecktravel today you will get an update on the rescue of a 5yr old this summer on the Disney Dream, the Port Miami expansion and hear an exciting update from Royal Caribbean.
When a five-year-old went overboard this summer on the Disney dream, there were rumors and speculation of how it happened. After a thorough investigation, the Broward County sheriffs department determined that the mother had coaxed the child into climbing up on the railing near a port hole to pose for pictures. She thought there was glass on the porthole. Although she was not found negligent They did say that this was an avoidable situation. Luckily, it ended better than most, and the father, who jumped after his daughter was rescued as well as the child by the amazing efforts of the Disney dream man overboard team.
Port Miami will be able to handle 10 cruise ships in one day including Royal Caribbean, Carnival ,MSC ,Celebrity, Oceana, Virgin, Norwegian, Viking, Silverseas & Cunard. Royal Caribbean is building a new terminal to handle all of their ship activity. You know Port Miami is the busiest cruise port in the world. However, I do enjoy sailing from Fort Lauderdale known as Port Everglades, but mostly from Port Canaveral.
And to no surprise, Royal Caribbean has done it again… With the early finish of the Royal Beach club. It will be open on December 23 , three days ahead of schedule. I cannot wait to visit however I will not be there when it first opens. I want the dust to settle so that I can show you a very thorough tour a few weeks later. I’m sure it will be amazing from the get-go. Will you be visiting the Royal Beach club? Would you be willing to pay $160+ for an all access pass including drinks (yes alcoholic), WiFi, food and all the venues ( minus cabanas)?
