Last May, while aboard the Icon of the Seas at Port Miami, I had the opportunity to capture some amazing cruise ships leaving the port as they sailed past our still-moored vessel.
Today’s #short is all about one of those ships, the stunning Carnival Sunrise. The ship set sail in 1999 under a completely different name, Carnival Triumph. However, after a $200 million refurbishment in 2019, which included numerous enhancements, it was renamed and began cruising as the Carnival Sunrise.
Seeing this grand vessel passing by at such a close distance was truly a breathtaking experience, and, boy, the passengers onboard seemed to be having so much fun at their sailaway party.
So, I hope you enjoy this #short video about the Carnival Sunrise departing the port of Miami, including a few facts and curiosities about her that I added.
See you in the next video!”
