Our cruise adventure took an unexpected turn as we arrived in Gisborne, New Zealand, only to find out we couldn’t go ashore due to tendering challenges. Instead of exploring this beautiful east coast city, we enjoyed an extra sea day aboard Holland America’s Westerdam. 🌊🚢 While we didn’t get to set foot in Gisborne, we made the most of our time on board—relaxing, enjoying the ship’s amenities, and soaking in the stunning ocean views.
