CARIBBEAN CRUISE VLOG 🛳️ FLYING TO BARBADOS FOR EMBARKATION DAY ❤️FIRST DAY ON P&O BRITANNIA 🥰

Travel day is finally here and we are off on our TWO WEEK Caribbean cruise adventure 😍 We start the vlog at home in the car chatting about the day ahead, our excitement levels, and all the details of the trip we have been counting down to for months. You know that mix of nerves and excitement before a big holiday… that is exactly how this morning felt 🥰 At the airport we drop our bags off and honestly wait until you see Molly’s suitcase weight 😱🤣 then we wander through duty free, grab some breakfast and head to the gate ready to begin the long journey to the sunshine. Once on board the plane we get settled in and talk through how seating works on these P&O charter flights, which is really useful if you are planning one yourself. We watch takeoff, get comfy with drinks and a film, and before long it is time for lunch where I show the difference between the kids’ meals and the adults’ versions. To pass the time me and Caspian play jigsaws and a little matching card game, we all try the afternoon tea, and suddenly it is time to land in beautiful Barbados 🥹 From the moment we step off the plane we show you the full process of getting to the ship, including the drive through the island with its colourful houses, palm trees and sunshine everywhere. It really hits you that the holiday has begun 🥰 At the port we go through check in and then it is time to step onto the ship. We board P&O Cruises flagship Britannia and get the full red carpet welcome with the most fun, friendly crew cheering us on board 🛳️ After a quick muster station check we head straight to our cabin A121 for a little room tour, then pop along to Phil’s parents’ cabin which is a stunning suite and give you a peek inside there too. We have a wander around the buffet, sit by the pool booking some dining experiences for the trip, and just soak in that first day on board feeling where everything still feels new and exciting 🙊🥰 Later that evening Phil takes the kids to the kids club while we head down to the Oriental Main Dining Room for dinner. My macaroni cheese starter was incredible, followed by pork loin steak and a chocolate slice for dessert which was very needed after such a long travel day 🥰 We end the night out on deck looking at the stars and the lights of Bridgetown while chatting about our day and everything we are excited for tomorrow.
