Following on from embarkation day, here’s the first feature-length vlog about this one week cruise on Royal Caribbean Symphony the Seas, the largest cruise ship I’ve ever sailed. Will it be too busy and chaotic or has Royal nailed this Oasis class experience? In this episode, a sea day from Cape Liberty, New Jersey gives me plenty of time to start exploring the ship and trying some of the crazy facilities on board (hello zip-wiring over the ship!), the pool areas, adults-only solarium, dining options, bars and entertainment (ice-skating show at sea, anyone?). We then spend an afternoon in Port Canaveral, Florida, on a pontoon boat wildlife spotting! The next day we arrive into Nassau, the Bahamas, and head off on a speedboat to Rose Island to meet some little (and big) piggies. Throw in information about the daily programme dress code, drinks packages, plus so much more, make sure you have some nibbles and drinks to hand! Let’s do this!
