It’s boarding day for us as we step aboard Cunard’s brand-new Queen Anne! Join us as we take you through embarkation from Ocean Terminal in Southampton. We spend the afternoon exploring this stunning new ship, we visit the Mareel Spa, The Pavilion and The Sky Bar. We sit down for our embarkation lunch in the Golden Lion Pub. The evening starts well in the Britannia Restaurant but things didn’t exactly go to plan We then head to the Queens Room and end the evening in the Bright Lights Society. Built by Fincantieri in Italy, this Pinnacle-class cruise ship spans 322.5 meters (1,058 feet) in length and boasts a gross tonnage of 113,000 GT. It accommodates up to 3,000 passengers and 1,225 crew members across 14 decks. Queen Anne combines modern luxury with Cunard’s signature elegance. Notable features include a three-deck Grand Lobby, the 835-seat Royal Court Theatre, and the Mareel Wellness & Beauty spa. Dining options span 15 venues, offering everything from sushi to fine dining. The ship also houses the Queens Room for ballroom dancing and afternoon tea, and The Pavilion—a retractable glass-domed pool area with an LED screen for open-air entertainment. Queen Anne embarked on her 111-night maiden world voyage in January 2025, visiting five continents and concluding in Hamburg on April 29, 2025 .
