Every Cruise company has its own schedule of activities throughout the day. Normally they will show you what that is with a hard copy i.e. Princess Patter, now with the online services on the apps. This is a summary of a few activities that I could have participated in.
Activities on any cruise could be trivia. Where I joined other people to make a group up to about 6 people & we saw if we could win fabulous prizes such as plastic coasters or for P&O the glasses case which we call a hamster coffin.
If I was feeling more energetic I could do Zumba
On Coral Princess, there are electronic boards where you can play games in competition with other Passengers
Buy duty-free shopping there is bags & jewellery & there are always sales happening at different times
Take home a souvenir, gold products, hats, t-shirts, magnets, scarves
If you want to be a little more enthusiastic & energetic on your cruise there is always the gym. The gymnasium is so perfectly appointed & positioned looking over the open ocean as you sweat off those extra pounds that you had gained at the buffet.
The Sanctuary to the back of this is Coral Princess where for an extra fee of about twenty dollars for half a day you can have a space on these amazing lounges their private pool
There are other pools around the boat, like this one, the Lotus where you can walk down into the pool. It was not heated on this occasion but the hot pools were.
This is the main pool on the pool deck which is just the most beautiful space surrounded by cafes, burger bars & liquor bars.
There are bars all around the ship so you can find your own special nesting place
If it was a cruise where you did have a sure Excursion that is also there for investigating
I could join the Tai Chi group that was by the swimming pool & this activity happens each day at about the same times
Also besides the pool, if I wanted to be a little more active I could have joined the line dancing group, where the instructor gave instructions to the passengers on all the steps required to do a song & then they perform
Learning all of the steps the passengers then put them all together & they dance to Achy Breaky Heart.
We could always enjoy a nice movie under the stars. There were also movies scheduled throughout the day.
Another activity I participated in was the wine tasting where you get to sample 6 different wines & the sommeliers explain the wines to you as you test them with the wine & cheese.
The next activity I participated in was Bingo & I don't recommend anybody who doesn't want to lose their money to participate in gambling such as bingo. I bought the package that had a scratchy which didn't have anything on it & then I waited for Fortuna to start calling the Bingo. I bring my own bingo dabbers. Children can participate in Bingo but the adult has to collect the prize. I was privileged enough to share my bingo experience with a couple of subscribers Brian & Sharon. We had a good giggle as we tried our luck. I did win a prize at Bingo on this occasion.
I do go to the casino as adult entertainment on a cruise but do not spend any money at the casino if you do not wish to lose it, the odds are really quite poor on a casino floor, There are a variety of different games there are chocolate Wheels, there are scratchies & there is roulette, II normally go for the pokies & on this occasion I did have a couple of wins.
My overall Cruise experience with all of the entertainment participating with all of the wonderful guests was just fabulous on Coral Princess
Stay safe everybody & happy travels
