Royal Princess November 2024 Day10 Auckland

We visit Auckland, the largest city in New Zealand. You can see part of the sail in to the harbour. We spent the day in the Auckland museum, which incorporates the Auckland War Memorial. See Maori carvings, and a waka (war canoe) amongst other lovely exhibits. We also see fossils, moa skeletons (large extinct flightless bird) along with exhibits of kiwi and other native birds. We sail out past Mount Rangitoto, an extinct volcano.
