Carnival Splendor 10 Day Cruise - Australia's East Coast featuring Airlie Beach & Cairns Queensland.

On this leg of the cruise up the East Coast of Australia we visited Airlie Beach and Cairns Queensland. Sadly the weather was not conducive to water sports and some excursions such as the Kuranda Railway, snorkelling and visiting the Great Barrier Reef had to be cancelled. The Cairns Ship Pilot made 4 attempts to get into the channel without success so we went out to sea and eventually made it in around 7 PM.
