Pre Cruise Day Trip to Kamakura

The day before our cruise we caught the train from Yokohama Station to Kamakura. Kamakura is easy to get around on the local busses. The tourist information office at the railway station can give you a map and suggest an easy agenda. We did a mixture of walking and bus rides between the different temples and shrines. We arrived about midday and were back in Yokohama by 6pm. It offers a great contrast to Tokyo, if you are looking for an easy day trip from Yokohama before a cruise.
