Is Carnival Encounter Actually Bad? | Cruise Vlog Day 9!

We are on the home stretch! There were a couple of activities that magically popped up in the app overnight which we decided to attend. First another cooking demo with the head chef before a very in-depth Q&A session with our one and only captain! I must say, having our Cruise Director at these events really helped keep it light and entertaining...unlike other times when the "fun" crew ran them. Luke's Burger Bar was nothing short of a letdown. Charging that much for a burger that is NOT gourmet really is daylight robbery. Originally we were going to get the fries included but when we saw the chef preparing the exact same fries that were served on the buffet (not even special thick cut chips), we saved the extra few dollars. I'm really hoping that after the contract ends, they replace this option with the FREE Guy's Burgers like the other ships. The family game show "What's Age Got To Do With It" really missed the mark which is disappointing because it has so much potential to be something really fun for kids. Musicology was the best production show we saw on this whole sailing so I'm glad they left it until last. Only one full day at sea to go!!
