One of the biggest concerns people mention before going on a cruise is the fear of getting seasick and having it ruin their vacation. After all, no one wants to feel sick — especially not while on holiday.
While seasickness is possible, it’s actually quite rare — especially if you follow a few basic cruise guidelines.
First, if you're worried about seasickness, choose a large and modern cruise ship. Bigger ships are much more stable and handle movement far better.
Second, you can bring over-the-counter seasickness medication with you.
And finally, cruise lines themselves often provide medication to treat seasickness onboard if needed.
That’s why I say: there’s really no reason to fear seasickness on a cruise.
