Embarkation day on Adventure of the Seas did not go as planned — and honestly, that made it even better.
Our day started with the funniest shuttle driver we’ve ever met, cracking jokes before we’d even reached the terminal. Good thing too… because the moment we arrived at Port Canaveral, everything kicked into high gear. Early boarding, crowds everywhere, and tropical storm–force winds creeping closer by the hour.
At one point it felt like we were speedrunning embarkation — the countdown was on, the wind was picking up, and the captain eventually announced we’d be sailing away ahead of schedule to stay ahead of the weather.
But even with the chaos, the day had so many bright spots:
✨ Great food
✨ Amazing service
✨ And the best part — time with family, laughing over dinner as the ship rocked gently and the storm passed in the distance.
This vlog captures all of it: the humor, the rush, the weather drama, and the moments that remind us why we cruise in the first place.
If you love cruise adventures, real travel moments, and a little bit of comedy mixed in with the chaos, you’re in the right place.
