Day 13 marks the grand finale of our Disney Fantasy Westbound Transatlantic Cruise—and it’s a big one. We’ve finally arrived at Castaway Cay, and it’s our very first visit to Disney’s private island. We kick off the morning by meeting Mickey and friends in their beachwear, posing with the island’s festive Christmas decorations, and snorkelling through the lagoon to find the hidden underwater statues.
Of course, we can’t resist checking out the island-exclusive merch before heading back onboard for our final evening at sea. The night brings a performance of Disney's Believe, our last dinner at Enchanted Garden, and some holiday-themed photo ops around the ship. Then comes the bittersweet part: saying goodbye to the Fantasy after nearly two weeks crossing the Atlantic.
We close the vlog with our review of the transatlantic experience—what makes this itinerary unique, whether the photo package is worth the splurge, if the length-of-cruise Rainforest Room pass paid off, and the reality of spending 13 nights in a floating metal tube with your sibling.
If you’re planning a future crossing, curious about Castaway Cay, or just want the inside scoop on long-haul Disney cruising, this finale ties it all together.
