ROME CRUISE EXCURSION: BOOKED! We're tackling the Eternal City in one epic cruise day trip

We have arrived in the port of Civitavecchia. Today we are off to the eternal city, Rome. Yet another fascinating place to visit. There is so much to see and again history is all around you. The coach takes just over an hour and our visit stop is the Colosseum. After some time exploring around this fascinating monument it was then time to head back to the coach. Our next stop included visits to the pantheon, Trevi fountain and Spanish steps. Then after a sneaky (large) gelato it was off to the Vatican City. So surreal standing in front of the basilica. Just amazing. What a fantastic day. A bit tired now but tomorrow is more relaxing. Come and join us in Corsica.
