Carnival Legend Cruise Vlog - Day 4 of our Cruise to New Caledonia aboard the Carnival Legend was a Port Day at the Isle of Pines. We could easily spend an entire week here but with just over 7 hours ashore, we tried to squeeze in as much activity as we could.
After orientating ourselves, we went for an awesome snorkel with a multitude of colourful fish and coral. We happened upon a Sea snake that seemed reasonably oblivious to us being there (although later we were told they are quite venomous but not very aggressive).
After some local market food for lunch, we took a boat ride to Turtle Bay to swim with a Giant Turtle (which was amazing), followed by a visit to Brush Island. The brilliant white sand and Turquoise water is mesmerizing.
After that, we walked around the Island just enjoying being there before finally (reluctantly), we caught one of the last Tender boats back to the Ship.
Again, as this is our first travel vlog, I am still working out how much is a good balance between talking and action. I would love to see any constructive criticism in the comments section.

Also, there's no music in this video ...I hope. There were so many times where music is in the background and I had to remove it. You don't want to go to the trouble of shooting a video and wading through hours of footage to then have Youtube flag your content for Copyright on some minuscule piece of music that the Bots detect in the background. Hopefully, everything sounds ok.
Side note: Cameras used to film this video were the GoPro HERO5 Black, The GoPro HERO4 Silver, and the GoPro HERO4 Session.
Accessories used were the GoPro Handler Floating Camera Grip, the UK Pro Carbon 40 Telescopic Pole, the HERO GEAR Dive Mask with direct GoPro mount and Polar Pro Snorkel filters.
We also tried a new full-face snorkel mask, which seemed to leak water constantly and in hindsight, we probably would have left at home.
Thank you for watching.
