Today, as part of our Days Out in SE Queensland series. we did the Woody Point to Redcliffe section of the Clontarf Redcliffe Seaside Walk. The full walk from Clontarf to Redcliffe is around 13km but this section is only just over 5km.
The walk consists of the seafront, beach and some roadway and passes by the wreck of the HMQS Gayundah with some great views from either the street above or the path by the waters side.
Apart from the jetty and the wreck we didn't really encounter anything of too much note but Woody Point Beach was a lovely place for a picnic to start the walk and there were plenty of places to stop and take in the scenery along the way.
