21-Day Trans-Pacific Cruise: New Zealand Adventures & Port Highlights! Picton, Wellington, Auckland

Join us for the next exciting leg of our 21-day Trans-Pacific cruise aboard Royal Caribbean's Quantum of the Seas, as we explore the stunning New Zealand cruise ports! After sailing across the Tasman Sea and through the breathtaking Marlborough Sounds, we arrived in Picton, a truly stunning and picturesque bay with incredible turquoise water. We explored the local markets, admired the adorable boathouses, and hiked the Harbour View Trail for fantastic panoramic views. Next up was Wellington, where our first stop was a ride on the iconic Wellington cable car, offering incredible views across the city and harbour. We then discovered the Fragrifert - Victorian Perfumery, visited the free Cable Car Museum, and took a leisurely stroll through the beautiful Botanic Gardens. Don't miss the divine pastries and fresh bread from Shelly Bay Baker! While the Wellington Chocolate Factory was nice to look at, in our opinion, it wasn't quite worth the hype. The Wellington waterfront, however, was fantastic, with great views and the fun Water Whirler water feature. Onboard, we took full advantage of the ship's amenities, enjoying the incredible panoramic views from the Northstar Observatory and trying out the thrilling FlowRider surf simulator and iFly simulator. Our New Zealand adventure concluded in Auckland, where we started our exploration in Aotea Square, stumbling upon the incredibly unique Lost Dogs disco art installation. We also loved the Viaduct and Waterfront area, which offers fantastic harbour views, and if you're keen on maritime history, the Maritime Museum is right there.
