NCL More at Sea Plus — and why the Great Stirrup Cay drink policy was just reversed.
In this episode of Things You Probably Didn’t Know, we explain Norwegian Cruise Line’s More at Sea Plus update and the sudden reversal of their Great Stirrup Cay drink package policy. This change means cruisers no longer need the More at Sea Plus upgrade to get drinks on NCL’s private island.
If you already purchased the More at Sea Plus drink package upgrade, you may still be eligible for a refund — but only if you downgrade at least 72 hours before sailing. After that, refunds are typically no longer possible. This policy change can save passengers over $300 on a 7-day cruise depending on their booking.
This video covers the NCL drink package rules, More at Sea vs More at Sea Plus, Great Stirrup Cay updates, and what this means for your cruise costs and booking strategy.
