Day 9 of our 13-Night Westbound Transatlantic Cruise on the Disney Fantasy turns into one of the most delightfully chaotic sea days yet — a perfect blend of scavenger hunts, pin trading, cocktails, character moments, and a huge announcement from the captain. We kick off the morning with another photo scavenger hunt, this time focused entirely on door handles and doors. Naturally, this leads to a spirited sprint around the ship before we regroup for a group photo with Mickey and friends. The Disney spirit continues with mystery pin pack shopping and pin trading across the ship. In the afternoon we relax in the Skyline Lounge, hunting for hidden Mickeys between sips of cocktails. That’s when the energy shifts — the captain announces that we’ll be making a bonus stop at Castaway Cay on the final day of the crossing. Dinner at Animator’s Palate keeps the magic going, but the night finishes with an unexpected highlight: the adult open house in the Oceaneer’s Lab, featuring a Goofy-led slumber party and pillowcase decorating. Nothing says “transatlantic adventure” like crafts with Goofy at 10pm.
