What not to do on a cruise ship 1 Don't do anything illegal Don't bring on any firearms, handcuff Don't bring on anything that is going to jeopardize the health and safety of passengers and crew 2 Don't forget to go the MUSTER it is an important safety drill before any ship can leave a port 3 Do not be rude to staff. They are here to serve you. They are away from their family and friends for up to 9 months of the year. They live in close quarters with other crew and do not get any days off for the whole contract 4 Never forget to wear sunscreen. It doesn't matter if it is the Caribbean, Pacific Islands, or Alaska. If you get sick and sunburnt it will ruin your whole cruise.
