Got stung in paradise! Lifou Island Carnival cruise day adventure

Welcome to Lifou Island! In this video, we share our peaceful morning exploring the stunning Lifou Island during our @Carnival Encounter Cruise. The weather was absolutely magical — blue skies, warm sunshine, and island beauty all around. We took a gentle walk up to the Chapel of Our Lady of Lourdes, perched on the hill overlooking Sandalwood Bay (Baie de Santal). Built in 1898 by Catholic missionaries, this beautiful chapel offers sweeping panoramic views — a must-see for every visitor. We then spent a little time relaxing on the beach, soaking in the sunshine and serenity. (And yes, Lisa had a little encounter with something stingy in the water – the joys of island life!)
