What is it really like to disembark from Carnival Horizon in Miami — even with priority status? In this video, we walk you through the full debarkation process from start to finish after our 6-night cruise aboard the Carnival Horizon, docking at PortMiami.
As Platinum VIFP guests, we were given priority debarkation access and directed to wait comfortably in the Liquid Lounge. Typically, this perk helps us avoid long lines and get off the ship quickly. However, on this particular morning, we experienced a 1.5-hour delay due to U.S. Customs clearance issues.
In this 13-minute video, we show:
• Where and how Platinum guests wait for early debarkation
• Real-time updates from Carnival staff
• The atmosphere in the Liquid Lounge during the delay
• What to expect when customs holds up the process
• Tips for preparing for delays — even with priority status
Whether it’s your first cruise or you’re a fellow VIFP member, this video will help you prepare for what can happen on debarkation day — expected or not.
