Are Cruise Lines Failing Beer Drinkers? | Cruise Ship Draft Beer Review
On my latest cruise, I was disappointed – once again – by the lack of decent draft beer options on board. The choices? John Smith’s, Fosters, and Strongbow. That’s it. For a two-week holiday at sea, it feels like cruise lines could do a lot better, especially for UK passengers who expect a proper pint like they’d get in the local pub.
In this video, I share my honest thoughts about cruise ship beer options, why I found myself drinking cocktails every night (even though I never order them at home), and why cruise companies really need to step up their game. I discuss:
Why cruise ship draft beer choice is so poor
How better keg beer options could help cruise lines meet their sustainability goals
The great beer flight I tried on Cunard that proves it can be done
I’d love to know what you think – are you happy with the beer options on board cruise ships, or do you want to see more choice? Let me know in the comments!
