This is the Embarkation Day 1 video from our sailing on Carnival Liberty from New Orleans, LA from January 26 to February 2, 2025. The cruise terminal parking couldn’t be better! It’s literally located on top of the Carnival Liberty cruise terminal on floors 4-6. We couldn’t believe it that we had our favorite cruise director Paully on Carnival Liberty! He was our cruise director on our Halloween sailing on Carnival Spirit. He is the GOAT cruise director! We had a little trouble with getting the Wifi to work on our cell phones, but after a couple of trips to Guest Services it was all ok! The settings needed to be changed. We toured the Spa and Gym on our first day, as well as Camp Ocean! We had lunch at the buffet - including Mongolian Wok. The dinner was great and was in the dining room. We watched the Wellcome Aboard show, the comedy show, and checked out other venues as well! One thing to remember is that on Carnival Spirit saying from New Orleans LA - your Cheers beverage package will work immediately after you board the ship. The casino will open right after sail away. However, the shops will not be open until the next day because the ship will not get into international waters until late at night.
