Today we are excited to take you through our recent experience on a four night cruise from Brisbane to Airlie Beach and back on board the Carnival Encounter.
Carnival has some amazing vessels and this one is no exception. Picture spacious decks, pools, and all sorts of entertainment. Whether you want to relax by the pool or catch a live show, there is something for everyone. Once an old Princess ship, then a beloved member of the P&O Australia Family, this ship will now carry out the rest of its life as a Carnival ship. As she has only just been taken over and rebranded however, there are still some contracts in place that were originally held with P&O so a full rebrand to Carnival cannot take effect until those contracts end.
We never went hungry. The food on board is varied from included venues like the main dining room and the pantry buffet, to the specialty restaurants like Luke's Bar and Grill and The Trattoria.
From Brisbane it is easy to park your car at the terminal carpark which is owned by Wilson parking. You can prebook and pay online months before your journey.
This 4 night cruise involved 1.5 days at sea, one full day in Airlie beach and then 1.5 days back towards Brisbane. Total 4 nights (5 days including disembarkation day)
Airlie beach is a beautiful part of the world. You can dive into all sorts of activities. Snorkelling or diving on the reef? Yes please! Or maybe just lounging on the beach with a good book. Airlie Beach has it all, from vibrant markets to cosy cafes where you can grab a bite and soak in the views.
What makes this trip special is not just the destination but the journey itself. From sipping cocktails on the deck to exploring the beauty of Airlie Beach, its a perfect getaway cruise.
I would highly recommend this cruise, if you have been thinking about a quick getaway to Airlie Beach this might just be the way to do it!
Thank you for watching. - The Fryers
