On social media, people make inquiries about photo packages.
I often make comments about photo packages when I am talking about ways to save money, so you can participate in the cruise experience without losing your entire wallet.
I don't know how I'm going to talk for five minutes about pixels, but here we go.
Pixels have varying opening hours.
Pixels offers a lot of different photo opportunities, including embarkation, disembarkation onto the islands, and different scenes where you can have your photos taken.
There is glitter and glamor as they rotate the different backdrops.
It's fabulous to have these qualified experienced photographers taking your photo.
They pose you in a way that makes you look absolutely glamorous, regardless of what you look like.
I know from experience because I have done this for over 15 years.
I was very into having the photos taken all the time and a couple of my friends are very good photographers, I've known them for years and have worked on cruise ships.
Everything comes at a price.
What I've tried to capture here are the prices that are allocated on the boat.
I've got some screenshots from the Carnival website.
Stop the video and have a look at what the pricing structure is and what's included & what's not included.
There are different things that cruise lines can be nickel and dimed with.
You could purchase souvenir photo cases or photo frames etc.
This is my favourite the little towel elephant. It's almost like a little mascot. I looked for a name, but I couldn't find a name for him.
All this is available for purchase at the pixel stand.
They just put the charge onto your Sail & Sign card when you purchase.
There are lanyards and electrical goods (earbuds, Bose speakers, travel power packs, etc.), potentially tax-free.
Maybe it is a better quality and a reduced price.
I know in a different Cruise Company I purchased my black GoPro camera for a few hundred dollars. It was a good deal. I ended up getting extra things like floating handles and tripods etc.
I am rambling about pixels because it's really not something that I'm particularly interested in, but for people that are here's a little bit of vision of some different pricing structures.
In relation to pixels, these backdrops are really quite sweet and the attendant will just call you over. They'll pose you and it just looks really quiet it's a lovely experience.
It is really quite nice especially if you're having an anniversary or something of that nature. They don't have many characters on Carnival but they do have a Cat in the Hat, Sussapolusa characters walking around at times. There was that little koala that people were having their photos taken with.
This is the images of the different sales of electrical goods which is a tax-free item.
They just put the cost of this onto your Sail & Sign card.
Things cost from around A$30/40 for power packs right up to A$300 for the Bose speaker systems.
If you want to spend your money there is always something to spend your money with on a Carnival Cruise.
There is the smallest glimpse of the Dream advertisement. The Dream photo advertisement that's the one where if you are having a wedding on board, they can do special photography. You can hire them to do Glamor Shots when you're on the Tropical Islands.
You can do black and white photos.
I have done those Dream portraits before and they were very expensive but very good quality.
Once again, if you're trying to budget and spread your money over on a cruise some of these things may not be the thing for you to do.
If you are saving your money and you specifically want to buy something like this tax-free.
I rambled for five minutes and I think I covered all of the things that I want to do in relation to pixels on any cruise ship.
