Carnival Venezia Enjoying the Empty Ship - Military Appreciation (Go Army, Beat Navy!)

Welcome to my three day cruise on Carnival Venezia sailing out of Port Canaveral. This Venezia's first cruise at Port Canaveral for the 2025-2026 winter season and we are going to Celebration Key, which is Carnival's newest private island.
Today is the stop at Celebration Key, which means I will be enjoying the empty ship. Celebration Key is not my cup of tea. The drink package does not work on the island and you only get one small meal. I'd rather stay on the ship and eat, drink and be Merry on a half empty ship. I finally got a seat at the Lobby Bar and was able to have some good conversations with the bartender and fellow patrons.
And it was Military appreciation day. Mike the Cruise Director did one of the best military events I've seen on a Carnival ship. And then it was off to hide our final, big duck when I was excited that someone found it who was really excited about it.
